Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater is seeking a Process Control Engineer for our Columbus, MT facilities. The role focuses on programming and maintaining PLC/SCADA systems and HMIs, and on reading P&IDs, loops, and electrical diagrams. You will collaborate with maintenance for installation and ongoing upkeep of instrumentation and electrical distribution.

The position requires staying current with control systems, supporting system improvements, and ensuring safe, efficient operations across the site.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering (BS Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation) or equivalent controls experience.
• Entry level position with 0–5 years' experience.
• Must be able to work any shift, including weekends, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Program and maintain PLC/SCADA control systems and HMIs.
• Read, create, and understand P&IDs, loops, electrical diagrams, and schematics.
• Collaborate with maintenance for installation and maintenance of process instrumentation and electrical distribution.
