Job summary

Sibanye-Stillwater in Columbus, MT is seeking a Supervisor - Sr. Engineer to own the strategic mine planning and mineral reserves, collaborating with sites and engineering teams.

The role centers on Life of Mine planning, and designing the LOM plan while also guiding annual mineral reserves and related economic analyses. The ideal candidate will lead in implementing business improvement initiatives, oversee safety and environmental compliance, and coordinate with finance to develop robust LOM

Qualifications

• BS in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of mine engineering experience.
• Experience with Long Range Design/Economic Analysis preferred.
• Ability to sign as Reserve QP under SEC Regulation S-K Part 1300 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the Life of Mine planning and design beyond 5 years.
• Develop 5-year plans and integrate with 2-year plans.
• Lead in development of annual Mineral Reserves and economic models.
• Drive mine planning improvements and safety culture.
• Coordinate with sites, Chief Engineer, and Finance staff.
