Job summary

NPAworldwide in Selma, AL is seeking an Electrical/Instrumentation Maintenance Supervisor for a fully integrated pulp and paper mill. You will lead an E/I crew of about ten hourly colleagues and partner with the Mechanical team to ensure reliable operation of area equipment, reporting to the Area Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering or related field required.
• 2-7 years experience in manufacturing, preferably electrical maintenance or paper operations.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Maintenance experience in a Pulp & Paper facility required.
• Proven supervisory abilities are essential.
• Ability to manage and lead multiple projects.
• Proficient with Microsoft and SAP PM applications.
• Active learner with ability to develop direct reports.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the E/I team to deliver safety, engagement, and reliability excellence.
• Manage team compliance with policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Approve pay and vacation scheduling and handle labor agreement tasks.
• Conduct 1:1s to provide guidance and development feedback.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with operations.
• Provide resource planning and scheduling to optimize maintenance.
• Implement and sustain 5S and effective resource use.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions.
• Serve as contractor coordinator when needed.
• Participate as a key member of the Maintenance team and follow reliability systems.
