Job summary

International Paper in Selma, Alabama seeks a Senior Reliability/Maintenance Engineer to drive mill-wide reliability and asset life improvements. You will establish inspection programs, lead predictive maintenance, and guide RCFA analyses while coordinating maintenance plans and safety initiatives.

You will apply eight years of operations/maintenance experience, electrical engineering knowledge, and IP ME certification to optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in operations, maintenance, and/or engineering in a paper manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
• IP ME certification (green or black belt) required.
• Lean/six sigma certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead reliability efforts on a mill-wide basis and in designated areas.
• Develop equipment inspection programs including PM, tear down inspections, and rebuilds.
• Manage reliability/maintenance improvement projects.
• Lead predictive maintenance and performance testing activities.
• Provide equipment technical support for failure analysis, repair and performance improvements.
