Job summary

ND Paper is seeking an E&I Maintenance Supervisor to lead electrical and instrumentation maintenance for safe, reliable operation of our Rumford paper mill. You will manage frontline E&I technicians, uphold safety standards, and partner with Operations, Reliability, and Engineering to minimize downtime and improve asset performance.

The role requires 5+ years in electrical/instrumentation maintenance in heavy industry, a relevant degree, and experience supervising maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance in a paper mill or heavy industrial environment.
• Prior leadership or supervision of maintenance personnel preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical distribution systems, PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, drives, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by actively leading the safe execution of work.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, lockout/tagout procedures, and electrical safety standards.
• Ensure all E&I work complies with OSHA, NFPA, company policies, and mill safety requirements.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and repair of electrical, instrumentation, DCS, PLC, and drive systems.
• Support preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Plan, schedule, and prioritize E&I maintenance activities to support production goals.
