Job summary

WestRock Company seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to lead the E&I function across the mill, driving productivity, reliability, and efficiency through design, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and timely maintenance for all equipment.

The role emphasizes prioritizing safety, coordinating with Engineering and Operations to meet maintenance needs, and applying PLC/DCS

Qualifications

Five plus years of experience as an electrical or mechanical craftsman.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent years of experience preferred.
Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians in troubleshooting E&I problems.
Execute industrial electrical plant maintenance including preventive maintenance tasks.
Ensure safe work practices and drive a safety culture (MOSSIE).
Coordinate maintenance activities to improve mill efficiency and reduce downtime.
Supervise maintenance employees and assign daily work schedules to maximize equipment availability.
