Job summary

WestRock Company seeks an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Superintendent to lead the E&I function across the mill, driving productivity, reliability, and efficiency through design, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and instrumentation systems. You will oversee a team of technicians, ensuring safety, quality, and timely maintenance for all equipment.

The role emphasizes prioritizing safety, coordinating with Engineering and Operations to meet maintenance needs, and applying PLC/DCS

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience as an electrical or mechanical craftsman.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technicians in troubleshooting E&I problems.
• Execute industrial electrical plant maintenance including preventive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure safe work practices and drive a safety culture (MOSSIE).
• Coordinate maintenance activities to improve mill efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Supervise maintenance employees and assign daily work schedules to maximize equipment availability.
