Job summary

Didion Inc. is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician to maintain and improve electrical, instrumentation, and control systems across our manufacturing operations in Cambria, WI. The role collaborates with maintenance, engineering, and operations to keep critical equipment running safely and efficiently.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and install instrumentation, read schematics, and support

Qualifications

  • Technical degree or certificate in Industrial Electrical Maintenance or related field.
  • Understanding of NFPA 70E and electrical safety practices.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment.
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation and controls.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations.
  • Support plant automation and control systems.
  • Work cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

Cambria, WI | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00

Compensation: $34-$39 per hourbased on experience

As an Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EIC) Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the electrical, instrumentation, and control systems that support our manufacturing operations. Working alongside skilled maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, you'll help ensure our equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently.

What You'll Do

  • Troubleshoot electrical, instrumentation, and control system issues
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on plant equipment

  • Help identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Technical degree, certificate, or equivalent experience in Industrial Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Understanding of NFPA 70E and electrical safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance, electrical, or controls experience
  • Experience with instrumentation systems and calibration
  • Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems
  • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of Ethernet, DeviceNet, and ControlNet networks
  • Understanding of state and local electrical codes
  • Experience designing, installing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems ranging from 24VDC controls to 480V motor circuits
