Job summary

Didion Inc. is seeking a hands-on Material Handler for our packaging plant to keep materials flowing and production moving. You’ll operate forklifts and related equipment, stage materials for production, and support the machine operators with accurate inventory control.

This role requires a high school diploma, forklift certification or ability to obtain, and a teamwork-focused, detail-oriented mindset. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexibility for overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Keep materials moving using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and organized storage areas.
• Stage materials for production to keep workflows smooth.
• Support machine operators and the production team.
• Monitor and restock packaging supplies to eliminate downtime.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols to keep everyone safe.
• Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
• Ensure quality and care in all materials handled.

Compensation:

• $21-$24/hour (based on experience)

What You'll Do

What You Bring

What the Work Environment Requires

• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy conditions
• Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly
• Frequent stair/ladder use and continuous standing
• Work safely at heights over 20'
• Ability to enter confined spaces following safety procedures
• Use and hear 2-way radios
• Ability to maneuver equipment in tight areas
