Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead installation Quality across customer sites. The role includes ensuring equipment installation meets Dematic standards, coordinating quality checklists, and conducting safety audits.

Local travel to customer locations will be required, with on-call availability for urgent needs. The role involves training contract labor, producing timely trip reports, and proactively solving problems on site.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel 100% to customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are found.
• Ensure on-site safety, including conducting safety audits.
• Assist with equipment trial runs to verify specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager or customer.
• Train contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
• Write concise trip reports within required Dematic timelines.
• Identify problems and propose practical solutions when issues are not complex.
• Travel on short notice and be on call as needed; travel up to 100%.
• Perform physical tasks on large construction sites (push/pull/crawl/squat/walk) and lift at least 50 lbs.
