Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to oversee installation quality on project sites, including manufacturer and subcontractor work. You will monitor quality checklists, safety audits, and ensure installations meet Dematic standards while coordinating with project managers and customers.

The role requires ten years of electromechanical troubleshooting experience, willingness to travel 100%, and a high school diploma (Associate degree preferred).

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Service experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience with quality assurance.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% and work weekends/holidays if needed.
• Must have knowledge of PCs, database functions, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation quality on the project site, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Responsible for quality checklists and submittal of Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Responsible for on-site safety including audits.
• Assists with routine equipment trial runs to ensure it meets specifications and is installed to Dematic standards.
• Provides on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager and/or customer.
• Provides assistance with training of contract labor and subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
• Writes concise trip reports within Dematic procedures timeframes.
• Identifies problems and suggests practical solutions when issues are not complex.
• Travel on short notice and spend up to 100% of the time traveling; on-call as needed.
• Push, pull, crawl, squat and walk around large construction sites in various climates and conditions.
• Lift at least 50 lbs.
