Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join a growing team. The role involves traveling to customer locations across the continental USA to oversee installation quality and safety on diverse projects.

Ideal candidates will have a strong background in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, familiarity with AGVS/AS/RS/conveyors, and a commitment to safety and quality standards on site.

Qualifications

• Ten years of experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment.
• Experience with AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred.
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Valid driver?s license required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including manufacturing and subcontractor quality.
• Maintain quality checklists and submit Corrective Actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Oversee on-site safety including safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to meet specifications and Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule and resources to project manager or customer.
• Help train contract labor and subcontractors in installation of material handling equipment.
• Draft concise trip reports within required timeframes.
• Identify problems and propose practical solutions when issues are not complex.
• Travel on short notice up to 100% and be on call as needed.
• Assist with moving and testing large equipment on site.
