JD Martin Company in Edmond, OK is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support sales efforts by handling inquiries, quoting, orders, and coordinating with distributors and manufacturers.

You will deliver accurate pricing, review specs, and ensure on-time material delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships and accurate CRM/ERP records.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven inside sales experience in an industrial electrical industry.
• Strong project coordination and communication skills—both verbal and written.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes in industrial distribution.

Mansioni

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online channels presenting electrical products and solutions.
• Prepare accurate and competitive price quotes and negotiating prices using manufacturer pricing, distributor information, and internal guidelines.
• Review project specifications and cable schedules to ensure accurate product selection.
• Process sales orders, change orders, returns, and warranty requests with full attention to accuracy and documentation requirements, while providing status updates to customers.
• Identify and qualify sales opportunities and collaborate with outside sales to close business.
• Maintain detailed records in CRM and ERP systems.
• Plan and coordinate staged deliveries to align with construction timelines.
• Follow up on outstanding quotes, open orders, and back orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Support inventory inquiries and work with procurement or manufacturing partners to resolve shortages or delays.
• Participate in product training, meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.
