Job summary

JD Martin Company in the Atlanta area seeks an Inside Sales professional to sell electrical products and solutions mainly by phone and email. You will act as a technical liaison and manufacturer representative, supporting customers with accurate quotes and timely responses.

You will review drawings and BOMs, maintain CRM data, and collaborate with manufacturers and the sales team to meet or exceed targets while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• 3 years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the product or technical product space. Switchgear experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to clearly convey information and product details
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of electrical products and industry trends
• Technical aptitude for interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and bills of material
• Analytical skills to extract and synthesize relevant information from complex technical documentation

Responsibilities

• Reach out to potential customers to present electrical products and solutions.
• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and negotiate pricing.
• Maintain and update customer database in CRM software.
• Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new product offerings.
• Provide excellent customer service before and after the sale.
• Communicate clearly in emails and proposals.
• Process orders, returns, etc.
• Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and bills of material to identify customer requirements and recommend solutions.
• Extract critical information from project documentation to ensure accurate product selection and pricing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned manufacturers and inside sales.
