Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to develop and execute CAPEX roadmaps for our critical electrical infrastructure in 24x7 fabrication facilities. You will lead end-of-life retrofits and capacity expansions to sustain growth and reliability.

You will ensure scalable, safe power distribution, manage design through turnover, and coordinate with external consultants and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• 2+ years in electrical design or industrial projects.
• Experience with MV/LV equipment, fault studies, and protective relays.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, code compliance, and safety validation for power distribution systems.
• Oversee full project lifecycles from planning to turnover within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop site-wide electrical specifications for MV/LV equipment.
• Prepare feasibility reports and conceptual designs for CIP and RM projects.
• Coordinate with external consultants, GC, and subcontractors on new builds and retrofits.
