Job summary

Graybar Electric Company seeks a sales leader to attain or exceed sales and gross margin budgets for the district in the Electrical and Industrial markets. You will manage a team of sales reps and support staff, oversee an annual budget up to $4M, and implement market plans to drive growth.

The role emphasizes developing plans with suppliers, coaching the sales team, and maintaining key customer relationships while ensuring a high level of customer service and staff development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in business or wholesale distribution
• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred 5 years' experience
• Four-year degree

Responsibilities

• Develop territory-specific business plans for Electrical and Industrial markets and coordinate with sales staff to execute district plans.
• Implement sales management processes using rep business plans, pre-call and post-call coaching.
• Analyze industry trends to identify opportunities and threats in the territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers to position the territory effectively.
• Assist in recruiting, staffing, and performance management to ensure high-quality customer service.
