Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is seeking a Project Sales Consultant with 5+ years of sales experience. You will conduct in-home consultations, develop replacement/upgrade proposals, and secure sales while coordinating with teammates to ensure service delivery.

Applicants should excel in negotiation, client relationships, and presenting value offers. Training is provided, with a company vehicle and fuel card available after completion.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years sales experience, preferably in the industry.
• A high school Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of industry equipment, field concepts, practices and tools.
• Experience in service agreement sales and estimating.
• Strong relationship building, client-driven and disciplined.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and people skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).

Responsibilities

• Create a positive customer experience.
• Follow-up on sales leads and lists, both technician and self-generated.
• Educate customers on service offerings using the Company’s Sales System.
• Recommend solutions and address objections with a total value proposal.
• Demonstrate credibility and technical knowledge.
• Evaluate the client’s home including comfort survey and load calculation.
• Write and present proposals clearly and efficiently.
• Close sales and complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Arrange financing paperwork and collect payments.
• Monitor performance metrics scorecards and maintain phone availability.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
