Job summary

Sturgeon Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial projects. You will read blueprints, plan schedules, and coordinate with project managers to deliver work safely, on time, and within budget.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor apprentices, enforce safety standards, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes. This union position follows Local 68 wage scales, with wages around industry standards depending on experience and

Qualifications

• Experience running commercial electrical jobs as a General Foreman is preferred. Extensive field experience will also be considered.
• Previous General foreman or crew leadership experience required
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and NEC code

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electrical crews on job sites
• Plan, schedule, and assign daily work activities
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local electrical codes
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors
• Order materials and manage job site inventory
• Maintain safety standards and conduct toolbox talks
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeymen
