Job summary

Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial electrical projects in the field, from mobilization through completion.

You will partner with the Project Manager on scheduling, material orders, RFIs, and change orders to keep work on track, on budget, and compliant with codes and safety standards. Union position with wage details referenced in the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Experience running commercial electrical jobs and foreman experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the NEC and jobsite means and methods.
• Ability to read and build from plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Proven leadership with the ability to direct a crew and set clear expectations.
• Coordinate with project manager on scheduling, materials, RFIs, and change orders.
• Journeyman license and OSHA 10/30 certification are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Own and run your assigned commercial electrical jobs in the field, from mobilization through completion.
• Lead, direct, and develop your crew, setting the pace and the standard on site every day.
• Partner with your project manager on scheduling and manpower, keeping the job on track and flagging changes early.
• Order and manage materials so your crew has what they need, when they need it, without waste or delay.
• Initiate and track RFIs, chasing down answers quickly so work never stalls.
• Spot and document change orders in the field, then work with your project manager to price and capture them.
