Qualifications

  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical construction.
  • Experience leading electrical crews and projects.
  • Experience with mid to large-scale electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise Apprentices, Journeymen, and Foremen on electrical construction projects.
  • Oversee daily field operations and ensure work stays on schedule and meets quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
  • Manage manpower, tools, equipment, and resources to keep crews productive.
  • Plan and oversee electrical installations from layout through final inspection.
  • Monitor progress and communicate updates, challenges, and needs to project management.
  • Train and mentor electricians and other field employees.
  • Participate in project planning and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project specs, codes, and company standards.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead electrical construction projects and field crews. This person will oversee day-to-day field operations, manage manpower and resources, and work closely with project management and other contractors to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and up to quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical construction background, previous leadership experience, and the ability to manage mid to large-scale projects from installation through completion.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily field operations and ensure work stays on schedule and meets quality and safety standards
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
  • Manage manpower, tools, equipment, and other resources to keep crews productive
  • Plan and oversee electrical installations from layout through final inspection
  • Monitor project progress and communicate updates, challenges, and needs to project management
  • Help resolve field issues and keep projects moving forward
  • Train and mentor electricians and other field employees
