The Vertex Companies LLC, a global consulting firm, is seeking an Electrical Forensic Engineer to investigate electrical system failures across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will work with seasoned forensic engineers, conduct field inspections, analyze evidence, and prepare technical reports for clients and attorneys.

This role blends engineering, fieldwork, and investigative analysis; ideal candidates are curious, detail‑oriented, and capable of explaining complex

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering; 2+ years of related experience or advanced degree without experience; or 5 years of related work experience and no degree.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required.

Mansioni

• Conduct forensic investigations involving electrical system failures, fires, and equipment damage.
• Perform site inspections to document conditions and collect evidence.
• Analyze engineering data and documentation to determine cause and origin of failures.
• Develop engineering opinions with technical analysis and standards.
• Prepare clear technical reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Review drawings, maintenance records, and incident reports.
• Assist with litigation support and exhibit preparation as needed.
• Travel to loss sites and client locations to conduct inspections.
