Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems while training and evaluating team performance on site.

You will develop material lists, ensure work complies with NEC and local codes, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in electrical construction (commercial/industrial).
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Strong understanding of projects scope and ability to read blueprints and contract docs.
• Proven communication with other trades and supervision to assign work.
• Willingness to learn reading construction docs and project plans (BlueBeam/Navisworks).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure on-site work meets highest quality standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating with the crew.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and fixtures.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
• Lay out small areas from drawings, including underground layout.
