Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial sites. You will lead, train, and evaluate performance while coordinating installation, alteration, and repair of electrical systems.

Responsibilities include mentoring the crew, developing schedules, detailing material lists, ensuring work meets NEC and local codes, and reading specifications, blueprints, and project documents to plan layouts

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, coach and grow a crew of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Proficient in reading blueprints, project specifications, and schematics.
• Knowledge of NEC guidelines and local codes.
• Aptitude for learning BlueBeam, Navisworks, and related project tools.
• Willingness to participate in leadership development and on-site training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew to ensure high-quality work.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by planning tasks and communicating needs.
• Ensure all crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit and fittings.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels and feeders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry and components.
