Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman on diverse electrical construction projects in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring work meets safety and quality standards.

You will read blueprints, prepare material lists, coordinate schedules, and mentor your team while coordinating with supervisors, trades and customers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and recognizing out-of-scope tasks.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision; read blueprints and documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards and develop manpower schedules.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Meet production and budget goals; ensure work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and conductors; read schematics.
• Lay out work from drawings, calculate sizes, perform basic troubleshooting of circuits.
• Work weekends/overtime as required; participate in field training.
