Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will supervise Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers, mentor staff, and ensure high quality workmanship while coordinating schedules and materials on site.

The role requires strong reading of blueprints and coordination with trades, with flexibility for overtime and weekend work as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates leadership abilities and can grow the team
• Ability to mentor and coach five crew members including Journeyman electricians
• Ability to read and understand project blueprints and specs
• Strong communication with trades and supervision

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards
• Develop manpower schedules for the crew
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision
• Align crew output with production and budget goals
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines
• Install and terminate electrical devices and conductors
• Read project specs and blueprints and lay out work from drawings
• Work schedules including weekends and overtime
