Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on major commercial projects. You will supervise installation, alteration and repair of electrical systems, while training and evaluating your crew to ensure safety, quality and efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprint literacy, and coordination with multiple trades to meet project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow in this area.
Ability to lead and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
Able to read and understand project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
Communicates effectively with other trades and with trade supervisors.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
Develop material lists from layouts, area prints, and job site demands and communicate lists to supervision.
Develop manpower schedule for their team and ensure alignment with budget goals.
Ensure all work by crew complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
Lay out and install electrical conduit, devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
Read project drawings and construct layouts, including underground layouts.
