Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians on commercial and industrial projects. You will oversee installation, alterations and repairs, while training and evaluating your team and ensuring safety and quality on site.

You will read blueprints and project specs, develop material lists, and coordinate with supervision to meet production and budget goals. Flexibility for overtime and weekend work is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5 electricians and apprentices.
• Strong reading of blueprints, project specs and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards and safety guidelines.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and communicate needs to supervision.
• Create material lists from layouts and site demands; communicate lists to supervision.
• Contribute to achieving production and budget goals by aligning tasks with plan.
