Job summary

Amteck is seeking a traveling Foreman Electrician to supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians on commercial/industrial projects. You will lead, train, and evaluate the crew, ensuring quality work and adherence to NEC and project specs.

Responsibilities include developing manpower schedules, reading blueprints, and coordinating with supervision to meet production goals. Must be able to work overtime and travel as required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and contract-related documents of other trades on site.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Ensure crew work complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panel boards and feeders.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
