Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial sites, overseeing Journeyman, Apprentices and Helpers while ensuring quality and safety. You will read blueprints, develop material lists, and coordinate schedules to keep projects on track.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to mentor team members, and a solid understanding of electrical installations, NEC guidelines, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial and/or industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow in this area and mentor a crew of five.
• Ability to read blueprints, project specs, and related documents.
• Strong communication and coordination with other trades and supervisors.
• Willingness to work weekends/overtime as project demands.
• Basic math and conduit sizing understanding for installation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work meets high standards and safety requirements.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and allocate tasks.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision
• Oversee installation, termination of devices, panels, and conductors
• Read project specs and blueprints to lay out work from drawings
• Ensure work complies with NEC and local codes
• Assist in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
