Job summary

Comfort Systems USA in Ghent, KY seeks a Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen on commercial/industrial projects. Under a senior Foreman or Superintendent, you will oversee installation, alterations and repairs while mentoring your team.

You will read blueprints, estimate materials, coordinate schedules, and ensure work complies with NEC and local codes. The role requires 7–10 years of electrical construction and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead a team of five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeymen.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and project specs.
• Strong communication with trades and supervisors.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work is to highest quality and compliant with NEC/local codes.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Oversee installation, alterations and repairs of electrical systems.
