Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial settings.
• Ability to lead and coach teams of ~5 workers.
• Understanding of blueprints and contract documents.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervisors.
• Ability to read and understand project schedules.
• Willingness to train in leadership.
• Commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills.
• Learn job-related material on the job or in training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure work quality meets high standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Maintain compliance with local and NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels, conductors.
• Read and interpret project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out electrical work, including underground layouts.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits.
