Job summary

Comfort Systems USA is seeking an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial electrical projects in Charleston. The role involves directing Journeymen, Apprentices, and Helpers, ensuring quality standards, and coordinating materials and schedules.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and specs, installing conduits and electrical devices, and maintaining safety and protocol adherence on site. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Leads and mentors a crew of Journeyman, Helpers, and Apprentices.
• Able to read and interpret electrical project drawings and specs.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside the crew to ensure highest quality standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job demands.
• Support production and budget goals by coordinating tasks.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit and related hardware.
• Install electrical devices, fixtures, panels, and feeders.
• Demonstrate circuitry knowledge and read schematics.
• Layout work from drawings, including underground setups.
• Size wires, conduit, and junction boxes correctly.
• Troubleshoot lighting and general power circuits.
