Job summary

Amteck is hiring an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project. The Foreman will supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman electricians, leading installation, maintenance and repair work on electrical systems while ensuring quality and safety standards on site.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to read blueprints, and hands-on experience with conduit work, device installations and coordination with other trades. Occasional weekend/overtime work is expected.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with growth potential.
• Able to lead, mentor, and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work and ability to read blueprints.
• Communicates with other trades and negotiates work assignments with trade supervisors.
• Ability to learn BlueBeam, Navisworks to understand project plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work with crew to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and job-site needs and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by aligning tasks with the plan.
• Ensure all work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install electrical conduit.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures, panels and feeders.
• Read project specs, blueprints and schematics.
