Job summary

Amteck is looking for an Electrical Foreman to lead a crew on a new construction project. You will guide Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, oversee installation, alteration, and repair work, and mentor the team on site.

You will read layouts and blueprints, develop material lists, and manage schedules to meet production and budget goals while ensuring NEC compliance and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coach teams of roughly five electricians.
• Thorough understanding of reading blueprints and project specs.
• Ability to develop construction schedules and coordinate with trades.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime.
• Basic mathematical skills and reading construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals and communicate needs to team.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC guidelines.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, panels, and conductors.
• Read project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
