Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew on commercial/industrial projects, ensuring high-quality work, on-schedule material coordination, and strict NEC adherence. You will read blueprints, mentor journeymen and apprentices, and drive safety on site.

The role requires coordinating with supervision to meet production and budget goals while maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring proper documentation and material management.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of roughly five Helpers, Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.
• Thorough understanding of a small, assigned scope of work.
• Read and understand blueprints and project documents.
• Understand and follow NEC guidelines and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Work alongside their crew and ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Assist in developing an effective manpower schedule for their team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job site demands; communicate to supervision.
• Help achieve production and budget goals by coordinating tasks with the crew.
• Ensure all work by the crew complies with local and NEC guidelines.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble and install conduit; use hand tools and benders.
• Install and terminate electrical devices, fixtures and panels.
• Read and interpret project specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
