Electrical Foreman Job Description

Minimum Experience Requirements

• 10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, working with an electrical contractor or subcontractor in a commercial or industrial construction environment.
• At least 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements and Expectations

• Pass a mandatory drug screen.
• Satisfactory performance on skills and capabilities assessments.
• Provide two professional references.
• Own and provide basic personal tools of the trade.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Direct electricians, train helpers and apprentices.
• Lead a team of 4+ helpers, apprentices, and electricians.
• Develop the skills of team members.
• Use and understand Procore and Bluebeam software.
• Track daily progress using Procore.
• Plan, layout, and install electrical systems according to specifications.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and Project Management.
• Inspect electrical systems and components for hazards and quality.
• Adhere to the National Electrical Code.
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines.
