Electrical Foreman

Job Responsibilities of a Foreman

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, controls, equipment, and fixtures.
• Plan layout and installation according to job specifications.
• Prepare sketches and follow blueprints for wiring and equipment placement.
• Place conduit, bend pipes, pull wires/cables, and complete circuits.
• Install cable/wiring trays, trapezes, and similar devices.
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Test electrical systems and circuits using appropriate tools.
• Inspect systems, equipment, and components for hazards and defects.
• Use electrician’s hand and power tools skillfully.
• Adhere to Electrical Code standards.
• Direct electricians and train helpers and apprentices.
• Coordinate with Project Manager according to project scope and GC contract.
• Follow all safety policies and guidelines.

Minimum Experience Requirements

At least 10 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience, including work with an electrical contractor/subcontractor in a commercial or industrial construction setting, along with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements and Expectations

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pass a mandatory drug screening.
• Satisfactory performance on skills and capabilities assessments.
• Provide two professional references.
• Own and carry basic personal tools of the trade.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
