Electrical Foreman

Job Responsibilities of a Foreman

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, controls, equipment, and fixtures.
• Plan layout and installation according to job specifications.
• Prepare sketches and follow blueprints for wiring and equipment placement.
• Place conduit, including bending pipe, pulling wire or cable, and completing circuits.
• Install cable/wiring trays, trapezes, and similar devices.
• Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Test electrical systems and circuits with appropriate equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components for hazards and defects.
• Use electrician’s hand tools and power tools skillfully.
• Follow Electrical Code and safety policies.
• Direct electricians and train helpers and apprentices.
• Coordinate with Project Manager according to scope GC Contract.
• Adhere to all safety policies and guidelines.

Minimum Experience Requirements

10+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience with an electrical contractor/subcontractor in a commercial or industrial construction environment, plus at least 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements and Expectations

• High School diploma or GED.
• Pass a mandatory drug screen.
• Satisfactory performance on skills and capabilities assessment.
• Provide two (2) professional references.
• Own and provide basic personal tools of the trade.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
