Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an Electrical Foreman for field assignments at solar project sites in the United States. The ideal candidate will lead electrical scope activities, supervise a crew of 10+ and ensure safe, high-quality installation of DC/AC systems and related equipment.

Experience in solar construction is preferred, and candidates must thrive outdoors in varied weather. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive on-site decision making across multiple trenching and installation

Qualifications

• Physically capable to lift 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work outdoors in varied, extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to follow precise instructions and take feedback constructively.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with crew and supervisors.
• Experience on solar construction projects is preferred.
• Capable of supervising a crew of 10+ to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform field-based electrical construction tasks on solar sites.
• Oversee trenching, cable install, splice work, and equipment installation.
• Manage safety procedures, LOTO, and documentation on site.
• Coordinate with crew and supervisors to ensure timely completion of activities.
• Supervise and mentor crew members to ensure quality and productivity.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

Skills/Abilities

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
