Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field crews at our solar and BESS projects across the United States. This hands-on role supports the electrical scope, ensuring safe, on-time installation of trenching, cabling, splices, SCADA equipment, and testing.

The ideal candidate will have experience on solar construction sites, strong teamwork, and a proven ability to supervise crews of 10 or more while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education.
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred.
• Ability to supervise a crew and maintain safety on site.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform electrical field duties on solar sites.
• Supervise a crew of 10+ to safely complete tasks.
• Coordinate with project team on trenching, cable installs, splices, and equipment installations.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

• PD Testing
• VLF Testing
• VOC Testing
• IV Curve Testing
• IR Scanning
• Survey/As-Built

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork

• Provides timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking.
