Job summary

CoVolt Power in the United States is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field construction of solar and related infrastructure projects. This hands-on role requires supervising crews, ensuring safety, and delivering quality workmanship on-site.

The successful candidate will manage wiring, trenching, splicing, testing, and equipment installation across project sites, while coordinating with supervisors and craft teams to meet schedule, safety, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education.
• Experience in solar construction projects preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a crew on field projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform DC/ MV trenching and cable install.
• Install and terminate conduits, fiber, and SCADA equipment.
• Supervise crews of 10+ to safely complete tasks.
• Ensure quality and safety on site and document field decisions.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

• Survey/As-Built

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork
