Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical Foreman to oversee the construction of solar fields at project sites across the United States. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and hands-on electrical work in outdoor environments.

The ideal candidate will supervise crews, coordinate trench and cable installations, and ensure quality and timely completion of electrical scope activities while maintaining strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education is required.
• Field experience in solar construction preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Safety and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform DC Trench, MV Trench, and MV Cable Install tasks.
• Install SCADA equipment and electrical components.
• Conduct fiber, conduit, and splice work as part of the solar field.
• Supervise a crew of 10 or more to safely complete tasks.
• Document field decisions and report production tracking.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
• Models behavior in safety, quality of work, attendance and punctuality, productivity, teamwork

• Provides timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking.
