Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead field-based electrical construction on solar and BESS projects in the United States. You will oversee a crew, ensure safety, and coordinate electrical scope across trenching, splicing, and equipment installation.

The ideal candidate will have experience on solar construction sites, comfortable outdoors in all weather, and a proven ability to supervise 10+ workers while maintaining quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent education.
• Experience on solar construction projects preferred.
• Ability to supervise a crew of 10+ safely and productively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical scope on solar field projects.
• Supervise field crew and coordinate daily tasks.
• Install DC/ MV trenching, cables, splices, SCADA equipment, and terminations.
• Ensure safety, quality, and reporting on site.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary:

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
