Job summary

CoVolt Power is hiring for an Electrical Foreman to lead field-based solar construction at project sites across the United States. You will oversee electrical scope execution, coordinate trenching, cable install, and equipment terminations, while ensuring safety and quality on schedule.

The role requires standing, lifting, and working outdoors in varied weather. Prior solar or construction supervisory experience is preferred; strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily field tasks.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and environments.
• Experience leading or supervising construction teams on solar projects preferred.
• Commitment to safety, quality and on-time delivery.
• Willingness to follow precise instructions and accept feedback.

Responsibilities

• Construct and support solar field infrastructure including DC/MV trenching and cabling.
• Install SCADA equipment, cabinets, conduits, and terminations.
• Perform testing and inspections (IV curves, VOC, IR scans) and document results.
• Supervise crews (10+ workers) to meet project milestones safely.
• Maintain site housekeeping, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Our Electrical Foreman will be located in the field at one of our project sites within the United States. The ideal candidate is a positive force on the jobsite, open to feedback, and hungry to learn.

Position Summary

This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. This position supports the electrical scope.

Skills/Abilities

• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on solar construction projects preferred
