Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead and supervise electrical projects in commercial and industrial sectors. You will oversee safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs, directing field crews and coordinating materials and schedules.

The role demands strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. A completed electrical apprenticeship and several years of supervision experience are

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program.
Four or more years of field supervision/management experience.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; proficient with technology.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise field crews, typically 20+ employees, delivering projects on time and safely.
Coordinate crews, apprentices, journeypersons, and leaders to meet objectives.
Plan work, schedule materials/tools/equipment to meet scope and budget.
Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction through coordination and close-outs.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, costs, timelines, and quality standards.
Conduct annual performance evaluations.
Interface with owners, architects, engineers, vendors and stakeholders.
Maintain licensing and required training.
Report to Field Supervisor/General Superintendent/Project Manager.
