Job summary

Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to provide leadership, management, and supervision for electrical projects in the commercial and industrial sectors. You will oversee safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment.

You will manage crews, coordinate scheduling and materials, ensure quality and client satisfaction, and uphold safety and budget standards while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; electrical apprenticeship completion preferred.
• Four or more years of field supervision/management experience in electrical projects.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to manage teams of electricians. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and safely.
• Lead and manage apprentices, journeypersons, crew leaders, and lead persons, delegating tasks to meet project objectives.
• Lay out project work and coordinate scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Ensure quality assurance and client satisfaction by reviewing documents and resolving construction difficulties; foster positive client relationships.
• Adhere to SOPs, manage project costs, time constraints, and quality standards.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations for assigned personnel; report to Field Supervisor, General Superintendent, or Project Manager.
