Gaylor Electric, Inc. is seeking a Field Supervisor to provide leadership and supervision for electrical projects in the commercial and industrial sectors.

You will oversee safe installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems and equipment, directing on-site teams and coordinating materials to meet project objectives. The role requires completion of an electrical apprenticeship and several years of field supervisory experience, with a focus on quality, safety, and client

Qualifications

• Four or more years of field supervision/management experience
• Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ability to manage teams of electricians. Supervise and direct field personnel and typically oversee a team of 20+ employees.
• Lead and manage crews comprising apprentices, journeypersons, crew leaders, and lead persons; delegate tasks effectively.
• Lay out project work and coordinate scheduling of materials, tools, and equipment to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Review project documents, plans, and specs to ensure compliance and quality; resolve construction difficulties and oversee close-outs.
• Engage with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain required licensing and training requirements.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
