Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Electrical Superintendent to lead industrial electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduit, cable trays, and terminations in MV/LV/CI configurations. The role requires field leadership to ensure safety, quality and productivity across the project scope.

The ideal candidate will have strong planning skills, a proven ability to supervise craft workers, and a commitment to ethics and teamwork on large-scale power projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical installation scopes.
• Proven ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Willingness to travel/relocate as needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and preventing injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction of craft workers managing safety, quality and production.
• Planning, scheduling and execution of field operations ensuring compliance with contract specifications, electrical code requirements and quality procedures for your assigned scope of work.
• Coordinate and interface with other superintendents and subcontractors, to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Develop a schedule based on provided man hours to ensure timely completion to support the overall project schedule.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company’s non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
