Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical General Foreman to support the construction of solar fields and electrical scope delivery. This hands-on role requires outdoor work, adherence to safety, and ability to train others on underground work.

You will lead installation activities, coordinate with crews, and ensure quality, scheduling, and timely documentation across trenching, cable, splices, and testing in varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able to work outdoors in varied weather.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• Experience on solar construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform trenching (DC/ MV) and cable install tasks.
• Carry out fiber install and fiber termination.
• Handle splice work: DC/MV, SCADA equipment install, and cabling.
• Labeling, LOTO, switching/energization, and tests (IV curve, IR scan).
• Survey/As-Built documentation and field decisions reporting.
