Carolina Cat is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers to support our Advanced Electrical Services team. You will perform electrical field service, maintenance, installation and testing on generators, UPS, switchgear and related power systems across multiple sites.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, PLC and network knowledge, and the ability to travel and respond to emergency service calls. A HS diploma and driver’s license are required, with electrical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2–3 years in electrical power generation or field service preferred.
• Customer-oriented, self-starter with ability to perform under pressure.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license and be available for emergency service calls.

Responsabilités

• Perform electrical field service activities including preventive maintenance and system checkout.
• Troubleshoot 480VAC/12.47KVAC gensets, switchgear, and control panels.
• Install, service, repair, and maintain generators, UPS, and associated equipment.
• Document work clearly on service reports and adhere to OSHA safety rules.
• Operate a company service vehicle and coordinate with other site personnel.
