Job summary

Carolina Power is seeking experienced Commercial & Residential Service Electricians with experience in installing and servicing emergency generators in Charleston, SC. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and reliable craftsmanship.

Regular full-time employment with benefits; pay range varies with experience. Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of electrical field experience.
• Professional image and trust building.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Ability to use hand tools of the trade.
• Ability to wear basic PPE.

The right candidate will have a proven track record of providing superior customer service while following safety procedures. All positions are regular, full-time and benefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers on needs and complete estimates
• Manage truck inventory, tools and equipment systems

• Provide feedback to supervisor on changes and expertly perform the craft to provide the highest customer satisfaction possible

Requirements

• Must possess 5-7 years’ experience in the electrical field
• Must present a professional image and excel in trust building
• Must be self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to use hand tools of the trade
• Must be able to effectively wear basic PPE
• Valid driver’s license (minimal violations)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and push/pull 100 lbs. on regular basis
• Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, bend, stoop, & work in all weather conditions
